Christina Najla LaRose is a writer and educator. She has published creative writing in Third Coast Literary Magazine and Mizna: Poetry, Prose, and Art Exploring Arab America. Her academic work has appeared in Hawwa: Journal of Women of the Middle East and the Islamic World and Humanity and Society. Her science and technical writing has been featured in Live Science, along with multiple publications from the National Center for Manufacturing Sciences and the University of Michigan. She holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Michigan, where she received the English Department’s Distinguished Undergraduate Teaching Award. She has worked with many nonprofit organizations on curricula for K-12 and college students. Most recently, she wrote an English Language Arts curriculum for the Prohuman Foundation, where she serves on the Board of Advisors.
